I have been a part of every Hike for Hospice in Peterborough and I wouldn't miss this one for anything. Hospice relies on the funds raised through this hike to support the many programs offered all through the year. I have already completed my personal hike, climbing the Blue Mountain Trail at Charleston Lake Provincial Park. I didn't even get lost! While hiking I reflected on the Hospice Peterborough Hikes over the years; the different venues, the varied weather, and the many people who participated. It is always a most memorable day when everyone Hikes together. And the Memory Circles over the years have been profound and touching. Tears are always shed and laughter is always present. But this year is different, and the Hike team has done an amazing job to help everyone feel connected while we hike on our own. That is the hospice way. Onward......
