We all know someone that has been affected by cancer - and although Hospice Norwood is not restricted to helping people/families with cancer, this cause is near and dear to my heart. It was made abundantly clear to me (through the personal experiences of friends and family) that more facilities need to exist in small towns like ours so that the oftentimes lengthy travel (and costs associated with it) are not such a huge part of daily life for so many people/families. Hospice Norwood's vision: To establish a welcoming facility in our community which will allow for terminally ill people to receive the best palliative care in a home environment. They will also provide support for people and families that are bereaved. Tax receipts will be provided for donations of $50.00 and greater.
